How do I join a Urantia Book study group. Where do I find meeting times and dates?

On the "Home" page, you can input a zip code, city, state, or country to find a list of study groups in your area. When a group's name comes up in the search results, clicking on it will give you the details including the meeting days and times.

If there are no groups in your area, you might consider registering yourself to form a new group.

Another option is to join one of the many virtual study groups to study with other readers from your home computer. 

How do I register my study group?

First, click on "Register" in the top menu.

Fill in your personal information and answer the question (Hint: the answer to the question is Urantia) Then, click on the button "I agree with and accept the Terms of Agreement."

Next, the system will send you an email that you need to reply to in order to verify your email address. You simply click on the link in the email.

Then, be sure to fill out the remaining text boxes on the final registration form so that folks will know all the details about your study group.

What is a Virtual Study Group?

A virtual study group is any study group that is accessible by computer. Some virtual study groups are composed entirely of people connecting remotely. Some are face-to-face groups that also allow people to  join remotely by computer.

How do I log IN or OUT?

To log in, click on the "Account" link in the top menu.

To log out, click on the Log Out link in the footer at the bottom of the page.

Can I register more than one study group.

Yes. Simply log in to your account then choose "Manage Study Groups." Then, click on the "New Study Group" link. 

What if I've forgotten my username and password?

Your username is the email address you used to join the site. If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Account" link in the menu bar at the top of the page.

Then click on the "I forgot my password" link at the bottom of the "Account" page. You will receive an email from the website with a link that allows you to choose a new password. If this doesn't work, contact us.

How do I delete my account?

Log in to your account and choose "Account Settings." Click on the "Delete This Account" checkbox, then confirm your intentions and press the "Submit" button.

How do I display a different language?

At the top right of each webpage, you will find a drop-down menu that allows you to select from the ever-growing list of languages.

I'm interested in starting a study group. Can I list myself in this directory?

Yes. Individuals willing to host a study group or who wish to be contacted can be listed in the directory. Be sure to add a note in the description section of your profile to indicate that you are trying to start a study group.

How do I report a study group that I believe to be a problem?

We have defined a study group as one focused on the study of The Urantia Book, open to all readers, apolitical in nature, and free from any activities that may distract students from the teachings of The Urantia Book. If you should encounter a study group or a particular host who you believe should not be listed in our directory, please contact us. We will investigate all reports.
